Made in the UK Awards 2018

Hosted by Insider, the Made in the UK Awards is one of the UK’s largest national manufacturing awards dinners.

Now in their fifth year, with an estimated 500-600 manufacturers at the event hosted by Insider, the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool was the perfect venue to bring all the regional winners together and celebrate the excellence within the manufacturing industry.

Winning the regional Made in Sheffield ‘Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m)’ award in April meant we were automatically shortlisted for the prestigious national title. It was an honour to represent Sheffield at this awards dinner, the first time for us to do so and hopefully not the last!

To be recognised as an innovative company operating in this sector is truly humbling. We were up against some fantastic, talented companies from all over the country, meaning it was going to be a tough competition to secure a win.

In the end, Wales based company, Frog Bikes, had the edge over all the shortlisted companies and were crowned the winners (very worthy winners too may we add!) Congratulations, Frog Bikes!

Whilst it is a great honour to be recognised by Made in Sheffield as its ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ for 2018, it is most meaningful and heartening to hear such great endorsement from our own customers. Listening to our customers and learning from them has been invaluable to us as a business, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships. Delivering Quality, Service and Value is important to us, so we can always put our Customers First and meet their needs.
