Award winners: Employer of the Year 2018

We are thrilled to announce that Baltic Apprenticeships have named us Employer of the Year 2018.

Nominated by our IT Technician apprentice Aaron Robinson, Jepson & Co has become Baltic’s winner of the Employer of the Year award. Baltic Apprenticeships work nationally with over 2,000 employers providing apprentice training so we are thrilled to be at the top of this list.

James Dentith from Baltic visited our Sheffield site on Thursday to present the award to Jepson & Co.

Highlights from Aaron’s Employer of the Year nomination:

“The company has gone above and beyond to ensure I’m happy, safe and comfortable in my job and this includes both management and fellow employees.

Becoming an apprentice at Jepson & Co was one of the best decisions of my life.”

On receiving the award, Alan Rebbeck, IT Manager said: “We are very proud of the company’s family values and the culture of fairness to all. The most enjoyable part of managing staff is to see them grow.”

Aaron’s winning nomination came top of all the entries from Baltic Apprenticeships, one of the UK’s leading training and apprenticeship providers.

Aaron has won Baltic Apprenticeships’ Learner of the Week award three times and proved himself to be a valuable asset to Jepson & Co. We are delighted that he took the time to put his nomination to paper for us.  You can read Aaron's nomination by clicking here.
