Launched in July 2018, the replacemyplates.com service supports Jepson & Co's network of trade customers by helping them retail online via click & collect.
Click & collect is currently the only legal way to purchase number plates online. It is a fast, easy and convenient way to buy new or replacement number plates for cars and motorcycles.
How it works
Consumers can order their fully legal number plates online in just 3 easy steps.
- Order & pay online: consumers can simply enter their registration and choose to customise their number plates with border and flag options. Then, they can enter a postcode to find the nearest Collection Point.
- Collect locally: consumers can collect the number plates at a time that’s convenient to them. Once the Collection Point has seen the official documents, the plates can then be made.
- Plate fitting service: consumers can compare the Collection Points in their area to find the best deals and have the option to get their new number plates fitted securely.
Benefits to the trade (Collection Points)
Trade customers who sign up as a Collection Point will be able to login into the website to manage their branch details, upload images of their store and/or promotions and also view the order history.
Our number plate software, PlateSync®, is connected to replacemyplates.com so Collection Points can receive orders over the internet and be notified about them almost immediately.
To ensure the click & collect process is legal, Collection Points are advised that official documents must be seen and recorded before any orders are fulfilled.
Jepson & Co is a proud member of the British Number Plate Manufacturer Association (BNMA) and will only supply number plate components that meet the British Standard (currently BS AU 145d) which makes our materials fully compliant and 100% legal.
